Full-Time Pharmacy Technician
Pacific Hospital of Long Beach / Long Beach, CA

AM and PM shift rotation (7AM to 10PM Monday to Saturday. Sunday 7AM to 7PM.) No on-call.

Description: As a pharmacy technician at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Certified pharmacy technician with CA licensure
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician at an acute care hospital (required)
- Automatic dispensing cabinet experience, Omnicell preferred
- IV compounding experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; computer skills
