We are experiencing record sales and are moving into a brand-new facility inHaverhill, MAshortly.Haverhill offers beautiful sights and is located half-way between the City of Boston and the beautiful New England Seacoast.

The Embedded Controls Software Engineer will be responsible for detailing controls requirements, controls modeling, integration, and some level of controls verification in cryogenics products. This person will also performthe design, development, and implementation of complex algorithms involving controller design, system identification, signal processing and signal analysis for cryogenic and chillers equipment used in the semiconductor industry.

IF YOU ACCEPT THIS MISSION, YOU WILL...

  • Provide detailing controls requirements, controls modeling, integration, and some level of controls verification in cryogenics products.
  • Performthe design, development, and implementation of complex algorithms involving controller design, system identification, signal processing and signal analysis for cryogenic and chillers equipment used in the semiconductor industry.
  • Investigatethe feasibility of applying scientific and mathematical control design principles and concepts to potential inventions and products.
  • Planand executelaboratory research pertaining to algorithm design and validation.
  • Introduce and advance controls development technologies.
  • Designand buildtools that allow debugging, analysis and performance evaluation of algorithms. Determines the root cause for algorithm failure in products in the manufacturing.
  • Maintain and provide management of control algorithm source code.
  • Oversee hands-on testing using real equipment (cryopumps, cryochillers, compressors) in a lab environment if required
  • Work as part of a team to deliver on-time & right-first-time solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM exercises such as standup, grooming, planning, and retrospective, to ensure the team is working effectively and managing its work.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING...

  • Ideal candidate possesses degree in Controls, Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ yrs of industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of design, controls and operation of highly engineered electromechanical products.
  • Experience and knowledge in embedded controls and real time data processing in Embedded Systems.
  • Expertise with Object Oriented Design and Multi-Threading architectures.
  • Proficiency in Programming languages such as C and C++.
  • Has a proactive, self-motivated approach to solving problems.
  • Experience with System Identification desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
