Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of Supply Chain professionals to ensure the supply of generic and branded Pharmaceuticals primarily manufactured at the Wilson, North Carolina site for domestic and international customers. The role oversees the supply chain for manufacturing and packaging, including procurement of direct materials, quota allocation, planning processes for the Wilson site, and several interconnected Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Align Demand and Supply requirements and convert them to an optimized production plan through the development of Master Production Schedules (MPS) down to detailed scheduling by work center and up to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Detailed schedules will include coordination of pharm tech and engineering activities. Coordinate all day-to-day production activities with the Operations group and ensure that adequate resources are available to manage the production plan. This position will manage raw material, manufacturing, and packaging Supply Chain professionals to optimize inventory levels for all direct material, manufacturing, and packaging requirements and is responsible for prioritizing review activities for the Quality Control and Quality Assurance units to ensure the release of product on time. Additionally, this position is responsible for updates and changes to master data for multiple manufacturing sites and associated companies as well as the oversight of serialization requirements for both internally and externally manufactured products. This position will also serve as the primary leadership representative for Supply Chain on business-critical technical transfer, new product introduction, and cross-company initiatives to support the transition to the Public Health Trust structure.

Education and Experience Requirements
The incumbent must have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Science (preferably in Supply Chain Management) along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Scheduling and Planning in a pharmaceutical environment (preferably generics solid oral dosage manufacturing).
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A strong background in SAP planning systems including MRP II is necessary to plan and manage inventory levels (APO module is a plus). A strong knowledge of all the aspects of production and operations is required to interpret reports and make operational decisions (APICS certification a plus). Proficient computer skills with software packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc. is necessary to control, analyze and present data.
